How much does it pay?
A typical Shop will pay you 10-40 dollars per Shop, depending on the complexity and length of time required to complete the process. Our general goal is that you as a Shopper will make about double minimum wage for the time it takes.
Is this for real?
Absolutely. Be very careful of any supposed Mystery Shopping Company that wants you to pay money to become a Shopper. That is a surefire sign of a scam.
Do I get to eat, shop and watch movies for free?
Often. You are expected to blend in, and it would be obvious if you went into a restaurant and didn't eat, a movie and didn't watch, etc. The reimbursement may be low though - just enough to make you look ordinary.
How often can I Shop?
That is a question we can't answer. It depends entirely on if we have Clients with outlets in your area, how often the Client wants to be shopped, and the number of Shoppers available. Some will sign up and not get an available assignment for months. Others will be able to work the next day and every day.
That doesn't sound like very sure income!
It is not sure income. To increase your chances of making good money, we encourage you to sign up with many Mystery Shopping companies. Each will have Shops available only for their Clients, so the more you sign up with the more chances you have to Shop.
Who are your Clients?
That is a secret. We treat our Clients with confidentiality, and we require you to keep this confidentiality when you are assigned a shop.
Will I get great assignments?
It depends on our Clients and the Shoppers available. We make our best assignments available to the best Shoppers first. When you sign up, you start at 100 points. Each time you do a good shop, you get points added. If there is a problem with your Shop results, you get points subtracted. The best assignments are offered first to those with high points, then to others if not taken.
Where are you located?
It really doesn't matter. BizShop is physically in Port Angeles, Washington - but the reason we say it doesn't matter is that we need Shoppers wherever our Client has a location to be checked. Worldwide, or even in Cyberspace (Websites are increasingly being Mystery Shopped)
Do I have to travel?
It's up to you. The more areas you are willing to cover, the more likely we'll have Shops available. On the other hand, there are Shops available that can be done from home, and certainly in your home town.
Do I need to live in the City?
It is true that there are more businesses to be Shopped in the city, but we usually have a shortage of Shoppers to cover the smaller towns and rural areas.
Who do you want as a Shopper?
You! We need people of all shapes, sizes, races, sexes, ages - because that is how ordinary customers look! What we value most is your ability to observe, notice things, and describe what you observed.
Is it always a secret shop?
We are often working best when nobody knows we are working - until the evaluation goes in. Sometimes however it is primarily education that is desired, and our Shoppers can remain anonymous or declare themselves as the Client wishes. You will not be put in any dangerous situations.
